CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: NITTTTR Bhopal’s Director and Chairman of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee, Prof. C.C. Tripathi, participated in the Hindi Diwas 2024 celebrations and the Fourth All India Official Language Conference organized by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
The event is notable for marking the Diamond Jubilee of the Official Language Hindi. The inaugural session was presided over by the Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation, Amit Shah. In his address, he stated, “Hindi is not just a language but an integral part of our culture and identity. Today is the day to take a pledge to make Hindi a global language. Hindi and all Indian languages complement each other. The recognition of Hindi as the official language has promoted unity and cultural heritage in India.”
Officials and employees working in the Hindi language from various parts of the country participated in this conference. Various sessions were held to discuss topics related to the Hindi language, such as its current status, challenges in its usage, new methods for development, and education and training in Hindi. NITTR Bhopal’s participation in the conference not only enhanced the recognition of the Hindi language but also highlighted the institution’s social responsibility and dedication toward the language.
Along with Director C.C. Tripathi, Prof. P.K. Purohit, Dean of the Science Department, and Official Language Coordinators Jitendra Chaturvedi and Babli Chaturvedi, Hindi Translators from NITTR Bhopal, also participated in the conference.
