Payable Bay Clubhouse Sealed Over Property Tax Dues

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Payable Bay Phase-1 Colony clubhouse was sealed by the municipal corporation due to non-payment of property taxes. Interestingly, until recently, the same clubhouse was being used by the municipal authorities to set up tax collection camps.

Residents claim that there has been existing resentment against the colony president regarding illegal colony transfers. Following the sealing of the clubhouse, public anger has intensified. Local residents allege that the situation could be the result of a collusion between the colony president and the builder.

In response to the incident, residents have also demanded a formal investigation into the matter.
