CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : On 25 September 2025, on the occasion of World Pharmacists Day, a grand Pharmacy Festival was organized under the banner of the Madhya Pradesh Health Employees Association at Hindi Bhavan, Bhopal.

MLA of South-West Bhopal, Bhagwandas Sabnani, was present as the Chief Guest, while State President S. B. Singh presided over the program. The Chief Medical and Health Officer of Bhopal attended as the Special Guest. During the festival, the association’s annual calendar was released by MLA Sabnani

On this occasion, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, in his message, said that pharmacists are constantly working in the service of humanity and play a vital role in ensuring the availability of quality medicines and safeguarding public health. He expressed confidence that the celebration of this day will promote better healthcare systems.

Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla, in his message, said that the availability of quality medicines and effective treatment is possible only because of the spirit of service and dedication of pharmacists. Meanwhile, State Minister Narendra Shivaji Patel stated that pharmacists are continuously engaged in research to provide quality medicines to patients and will continue to make significant contributions in building an excellent healthcare system in the future.

During the program, State Secretary Sunil Singh raised the demand to fill the vacant posts of pharmacists in the state. In response, MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani assured that he would discuss the matter with the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister to find a solution.

The program was attended by hundreds of pharmacists from across the state. Prominent representatives included Kamlesh Singh, Aziz Khan, I.P. Mishra, Sanjay Singh Parihar, Jai Singh Patel, Akanksha Shukla, Ganesh Mehra, Sarlesh Rajput, Vinod Kamde, B.K. Tripathi, Ravindra Singh, and Lavesh.

The ceremony was conducted by Sharad Meshram, and a vote of thanks was delivered by State Secretary Sunil Singh.
