The programme was chaired by Bhopal Divisional Commissioner Karmveer Sharma. He interacted directly with industrialists and entrepreneurs, heard their problems and suggestions, sought information from the officials concerned, and issued clear directions for resolving the problems and providing essential facilities in the industrial area.

Divisional Commissioner Karmveer Sharma directed the departments concerned to ensure necessary action in coordination with one another to improve basic facilities, infrastructure and security arrangements in the Pilukhedi industrial area. Giving priority to the issues raised by industrialists, he stressed effective action towards their resolution. He said the objective of the Chief Minister’s Jan Vishwas Abhiyan is to maintain continuous dialogue with people associated with industry and business, understand their problems and ensure their resolution within a fixed timeframe. During the Udyam Samvad, industrialists raised issues before the divisional commissioner regarding water supply from Resai Dam to the Pilukhedi industrial area, installation of CCTV cameras, fire brigade and ambulance facilities, a sub-health centre, adequate streetlights and the safety of women employees.

Divisional Commissioner Sharma obtained necessary information from the officials concerned on these matters and directed coordinated action to strengthen security and essential services in the industrial area. Narsinghgarh MLA Mohan Sharma said special emphasis should be laid on initiatives to provide maximum employment opportunities to local youth in industrial areas. This would help youth get employment locally and also give momentum to industrial development.

The Udyam Samvad also discussed the expansion of industrial activities and possibilities for setting up new industries in other industrial areas of the district. Deliberations were held on investment possibilities in Kachanaria Food Cluster, Pachor, Dabli Kala, Gorakhpura and other areas.
