CNN Central News & Networks / ITDC India ePress / ITDC News /Agencies/ Bhopal: CNN Central News & Networks / ITDC India ePress / ITDC News / Agencies: In view of the rising passenger rush during the Chhath and Diwali festivals, the Railways has made special arrangements at Raipur railway station. For the convenience of passengers travelling to Bihar and to better manage crowds at the station, three trains will operate from platform number 7 from November 4 to 14.
During the festive season, a large number of people travel to their homes. Passenger numbers rise particularly on trains going to Bihar, leading to crowding at the station. Keeping this in mind, the Railways has made a temporary change to the platforms of some trains.
Under this arrangement by the Railways, the three concerned trains will depart from platform number 7 during the specified period. Passengers are therefore advised to check the platform information for their train before travelling, so that they do not face any last-minute inconvenience.
The purpose of the platform change is to organise passenger movement and control crowds at the station during the festivals. Passengers will need to pay attention to railway announcements and information available on display boards.
