CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At the Central Sanskrit University, Bhopal Campus, a Pledge and Awareness Program was organized as part of the Drug-Free Fortnight campaign being run by the Central Narcotics Bureau, Government of India.

On this occasion, the Campus Director, Professor Ramakant Pandey, administered the anti-drug pledge to students, faculty, and staff to raise awareness against drug use.

The event was attended by several esteemed faculty members including:

Professor Subodh Sharma, Acharya, Department of Grammar

Professor Bharat Bhushan Mishra, Acharya, Department of Astrology

Professor Govind Pandey and Professor Ashok Kumar Kachhuvah, Department of Education

Dr. Rakesh Kumar Verma, NSS Program Officer and Program Coordinator

Dr. Prasad Bhide, Department of Drama

Sangeeta Gundecha and Sumit Saxena, along with many students including Pankaj Pandey, Harshraj Dubey, Shrestha, Mayur, Sanit Swami, and Rahul Mishra.

A large number of students and faculty members participated in the event, showing strong support for a drug-free campus.

Various competitions and activities are also being organized on campus to further promote awareness about de-addiction and healthy lifestyles.
