CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed over 51,000 appointment letters to newly appointed youths via video conferencing. Job fairs were organized at a total of 40 locations across the country, including Indore, Jabalpur, and Gwalior.
In Indore, a job fair was held at Ravindra Natya Griha, RNT Marg, Indore, under the chief guest Savitribai Thakur, the Union Minister of State for Women and Child Development. This event was also attended by Tulsi Ram Silawat, Minister of Water Resources, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Shankar Lalwani, MP from Indore, and Usha Thakur, MLA from the Mahu assembly constituency.
During this job fair, appointment letters were provided to a total of 323 selected candidates, including 253 from the Indian Postal Department, 46 from the Indian Railways, 3 from the Border Security Force, 4 from the Central Reserve Police Force, 1 from the Higher Education Department (School of Planning and Architecture), 2 from the Food Corporation of India, and 14 from the State Bank of India. On this occasion, Savitribai Thakur urged the youth to contribute to realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of a developed India.
Additionally, a job fair was also held at the auditorium of IITTM Gwalior. Addressing the job fair, Durga Das Uike, the Union Minister of State for Tribal Welfare, urged participants to serve their families through their livelihoods while also serving society and the nation. He expressed happiness that Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually provided appointment letters to 51,000 youths across the country, including 205 from Gwalior district. All these youths will serve in various departments of the central government. The event was chaired by regional MP Bharat Singh Kushwaha, who presented appointment letters to the selected youths from Gwalior district. He remarked that if the intention to work is good, the policy will also be good, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi has demonstrated.
On the same occasion, a job fair was also held at Manas Bhavan in Jabalpur, under the chief guest Virendra Kumar, the Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment. Here, 291 youths received appointment letters. During the event, Virendra Kumar emphasized the important responsibility of the youth in the development of the country and society. He highlighted the crucial role of the youth in the vision to make India a developed nation by 2047.
