CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 10th edition of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2026 at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi today, October 8, at around 10 am. He will also address the gathering at the technology and telecommunications event.

Organised jointly by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), IMC 2026 is being held from October 7 to 10. The theme of this year’s edition is “Scale Without Boundaries”, reflecting the focus on digital innovation, next-generation connectivity and technology-led growth.

The 10th edition is expected to bring together participants from more than 100 countries, including technology companies, telecom operators, startups, investors, policymakers, researchers and innovators. The event is designed to provide a platform for technology demonstrations, product launches, industry collaborations and investment opportunities.

IMC 2026 will focus on four key pillars — Srishti (Building the Future), Samvardhan (Fueling Growth), Sashakt (Expanding Opportunities) and Suraksha (Strengthening Trust). Emerging areas including 5G, 6G, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, cloud and edge computing, satellite communications, quantum technologies and cybersecurity will feature prominently.

The event will also explore newer domains such as smart mobility, stadium experiences, industrial robotics and transport technology. Organisers expect more than 1.5 lakh attendees, over 500 exhibitors and partners, 600-plus startups and around 900 thought leaders during the four-day programme.

With its 10th edition, India Mobile Congress is seeking to strengthen its role as a global platform for telecommunications and digital technology while showcasing India’s expanding capabilities in connectivity, innovation and technology development.
