CNN Central News and Network – ITDC India Express / ITDC News Bhopal Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the ‘Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit’ on Monday at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC) in Sitapura. He also launched the ‘Rajasthan Global Business Expo,’ showcasing the state’s economic potential and business-friendly policies.

The inaugural session saw participation from over 5,000 investors, industrialists, Union Ministers, state Cabinet members, and global business leaders. Prominent industrialist Gautam Adani arrived in Jaipur on Sunday evening to attend the event.

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma opened the session with a welcome address, outlining Rajasthan’s ambitious vision to double its economy to $350 billion in the next five years. The state government announced that investment proposals worth ₹30 lakh crore have been received during the summit.

The ‘Rajasthan Global Business Expo’ features sector-specific exhibitions, including Rajasthan Pavilion, Startup Pavilion, and Country Pavilion, highlighting the state’s strengths in various industries and sustainable practices.

The three-day summit will host thematic discussions on key sectors, including women’s entrepreneurship, water management, agribusiness, sustainable energy, healthcare, and tourism. Specialized sessions like the ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Conclave’ and ‘MSME Conclave’ aim to address challenges, share technological innovations, and explore emerging opportunities.

State Industries Minister emphasized that the summit underscores Rajasthan’s journey toward becoming a developed state, with job creation and economic growth as key outcomes. State Health Minister highlighted the record-breaking quantum of MoUs signed, marking Rajasthan’s distinction as a rising industrial hub in India.

The event reflects Rajasthan’s commitment to fostering a progressive and inclusive business environment while attracting global and domestic investments.
