The four-day international conference will be held from November 2 to 5. Representatives from more than 130 countries, over 40 ministers, global investors, industrialists, policymakers and energy-sector experts are expected to attend.

Based on the theme “Investment, Innovation and Inspiration,” the conference aims to promote global investment in renewable energy, exchange modern technologies and strengthen international partnerships. Nine countries and regional groups, including Australia, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom, will participate as partners.

India’s renewable energy capacity will also be a major focus of the conference. The country’s non-fossil fuel-based power generation capacity has reached 308 GW. India ranks third in the world in installed renewable energy and solar energy capacity. The government aims to raise non-fossil energy capacity to 500 GW by 2030.

To achieve this target, investment of about $220 billion is said to be required between 2027 and 2030. The ninth assembly of the International Solar Alliance and the fourth international conference on green hydrogen will also be held alongside the summit. More than 400 exhibitors at the expo will showcase modern technologies related to solar energy, wind energy, green hydrogen and energy storage. The event is considered important in positioning India as a major global hub for clean energy investment and technological cooperation.
