The tour includes visits to the United Arab Emirates, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, and Italy, with discussions focused on trade, technology, energy security, innovation, defence cooperation, and geopolitical stability. During his UAE visit, India signed key agreements related to strategic petroleum reserves, LPG supplies, defence cooperation, and infrastructure investments worth billions of dollars.

In the Netherlands, India elevated bilateral ties to a Strategic Partnership and announced cooperation in green hydrogen, semiconductors, water management, and advanced technology sectors. PM Modi also interacted with the Indian diaspora and global business leaders during the visit.

The Norway leg of the tour marks the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to the country in 43 years and includes participation in the India-Nordic Summit. The broader tour comes amid rising geopolitical tensions in West Asia and growing global focus on supply chains, energy security, and economic resilience.
