Book Review:

The book presents an in-depth analysis of the media management strategies adopted by major political parties in Madhya Pradesh. It explains, in a research-oriented and factual manner, the role of media in election campaigns, press releases, media drives, public relations activities, and the shaping of public opinion. Written in simple language with a strong academic perspective, the book proves to be valuable for researchers, media students, journalists, and readers interested in political communication.

Relevance for First-Time Voters:

This book is particularly significant for first-time voters, as it helps them understand how political parties influence voters through media. It promotes media literacy, critical thinking, and informed citizenship among youth, enabling them to participate responsibly and knowledgeably in the democratic process.

According to the author, Dr. Yogesh Patel, media is no longer just a medium of information; it has become the axis of democracy. He stated that his book helps young people—especially first-time voters—understand how political parties communicate messages and shape public opinion through media. His objective is to encourage youth to become aware, thoughtful, and responsible citizens capable of making informed decisions in the democratic process.
