CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The 8th Poshan Pakhwada was successfully organized from April 9 to April 23, 2026, at the Divisional Railway Hospital, West Central Railway, Bhopal, featuring various awareness and public welfare activities. The program was conducted under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Pankaj Tyagi and the leadership of Chief Medical Superintendent, Bhopal, Ajay Dogra.
During the event, special discussion sessions were organized for pregnant women to enhance awareness about nutrition. These sessions provided detailed information on balanced diet, maternal and child health, and the importance of early breastfeeding. Additionally, practical suggestions were given to parents to help reduce screen time among children.
As part of the initiative, pamphlets were distributed among railway beneficiaries to spread awareness. A poster exhibition was also आयोजित to encourage children to engage in physical activities as alternatives to screen time. Furthermore, traditional games such as Langdi were organized for children in the OPD परिसर to promote active participation.
The objective of this initiative was to inspire children to adopt an active and healthy lifestyle and to increase awareness about nutrition in society. Through the program, participants gained valuable health-related knowledge and appreciated such initiatives.
