CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In line with the operation of the new APT software in the Postal Department, another important initiative is being launched to provide customers with digital payment/QR payment facilities. Under the Madhya Pradesh Post Preference scheme, 1,092 QR/POS machines are being installed in 892 post offices, which will enhance digital payment adoption in both rural and urban areas. This initiative will not only provide fast and easy digital payment services at post offices but also help save customers’ time.

Even before the implementation of the new APT software, this facility was already being provided in all branch post offices via mobile. Following the supply of these machines to all bank-affiliated post offices, payment through dynamic QR codes is now being made available. Currently, POS machines are being supplied to post offices, and very soon, the digital payment facility will be implemented nationwide.

The concerned officers are advised to maximize the use of this facility to benefit customers and promote digital payments.
