CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Karnataka Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the sex scandal case involving Prajwal Revanna is trying to locate the Hassan MP’s “lost” iPhone, which the police believe was used to film the sexual abuse videos.

The JD(S) scion claimed that he lost the iPhone a year ago. They could not find any evidence from the phone seized from the MP at the time of the arrest.

The investigators have also sought access to Apple servers to recover the sexual abuse videos from iCloud. They have also sought Apple’s help crosscheck the dates on which the explicit videos were shot.

Karthik Gowda, the MP’s former driver, allegedly leaked 2,976 videos of over 200 women filmed by Prajwal on his iPhone. The MP who was arrested on May 31 is currently under police custody, which will end on June 6.

Prajwal was reportedly refusing to cooperate with the police by giving evasive replies. He also denied allegations against him and claimed that the case was part of a conspiracy against him.

The SIT is hunting for the MP’s mother Bhavani Revanna after the officers failed to find her at her home. She  is planning to move Karnataka High Court for anticipatory bail to avoid an arrest by the SIT after a lower court denied her plea.
