CNN Central News & Networks / ITDC India ePress / ITDC News /Agencies/ Bhopal: New Delhi. Indian fast bowler Prasidh Krishna has been ruled out of the upcoming five-match ODI series against New Zealand. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) gave official information on October 29 about the changes in the squad. Prasidh Krishna is recovering from a hamstring injury, but has not been able to attain the fitness required to play matches. He needs additional time to become fully fit.

No fitness clearance due to injury

According to the BCCI, Prasidh Krishna needs to gradually increase his bowling workload. He is currently not fully ready to return to competitive cricket. However, after completing the fitness assessment and return process, he may get an opportunity to play in the third and final four-day match against New Zealand A. This will also give him match practice before the Test series.
