CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A two-day cultural festival, “Pravah 2024,” was inaugurated at the Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal campus to provide students an opportunity to showcase their talents and skills through cultural performances, creative competitions, and sports activities. The event was inaugurated with a lamp-lighting ceremony by UIT RGPV Director Sudhir Singh Bhadoriya, Program Coordinators Ravindra Patel, Jitendra Agrawal, and Ravindra Randa.

The event witnessed the presence of university faculty, officials, and students. On this occasion, Director Sudhir Singh Bhadoriya emphasized the importance of such events for the holistic development of students, stating, “These festivals are essential for the overall growth journey of students. We will continue to organize such events in the future to ensure their progress. Cultural festivals in odd semesters and sports and technical programs in even semesters will remain part of this tradition.”

Coordinator Ravindra Patel added, “This is not just a cultural festival but an incredible platform for personality development. It provides an opportunity to showcase creativity and talent. I wish all participants the best and hope this festival reaches new heights.”

The cultural festival featured competitions and activities such as treasure hunts, rangoli, painting, best out of waste, solo dance, group dance, solo singing, group singing, fashion shows, reel making, and open mic sessions.

On the first day, various competitions showcased students’ creativity and talent:

Painting Competition: 22 participants expressed their imagination through colors.

Rangoli Competition: 7 participants displayed their art by blending traditional and modern designs.

Reel Making Competition: 13 participants demonstrated creativity behind the camera, narrating stories through short reels.

Best Out of Waste Competition: 9 participants crafted unique art pieces from waste materials, promoting environmental conservation.

Dance Performances: 34 participants captivated the audience with their rhythmic and energetic solo and group dance performances.

Open Mic Session: The day concluded with an open mic event, where students shared heartfelt and inspiring poems, stories, and experiences.

On the second day, various other competitions will be organized. The closing ceremony, scheduled at 4:30 PM in the university campus, will feature the prize distribution for the winners.
