CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Several arrangements have been changed at an ashram linked to Vrindavan saint Premanand Maharaj after the death of a disciple. The initiation programme at Keli Kunj Ashram has been stopped for an indefinite period. Along with this, darshan conducted through tokens has also been suspended for now. Ashram sevadars have informed devotees about the new arrangements through microphones.
Darshan for initiated devotees at the ashram located at Yamuna Vihar Kunj Belvan has also been stopped. In addition, information has emerged about changes in the attire of sevadars associated with the service arrangements. Devotees reaching the ashram are currently not getting the initiation and darshan facilities as before. No definite date has been announced for when these arrangements will resume.
The changes have come after the death of Premanand Maharaj’s disciple Rasik Dulari Sharan, alias Deepak Lodhi. According to reports, Deepak died after falling from the fourth floor of an apartment. Police are investigating the matter, and evidence linked to the spot, along with the DVR, mobile phone and other material, has been sent for forensic examination.
