CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: With great joy, it is informed that the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has initiated a 21-day workshop on stagecraft and direction of Sanskrit dramas at the premises of the Central Sanskrit University, Bhopal. The workshop commenced on 3rd June 2024. Eminent scholars and artists from across the country, notably from states such as Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, Agartala, Odisha, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, among others, are participating.
Distinguished personalities like Radha Vallabh Tripathi, renowned for their profound knowledge of Sanskrit literature and former director of the National Sanskrit Institute; Yogesh Soman, director of the Mumbai University Theatre Arts Academy and famous film actor; Varkhedi, Chancellor of the University through online medium; Senior Acharya Y.S. Ramesh from Jaipur campus; renowned dancer Aishwarya Harish; and acclaimed stage artist Suresh Babu, along with Ramakant Pandey, Director of Bhopal campus, and program coordinator Dr. Prasad Bhide, are actively participating in this 21-day Sanskrit theatre workshop at various intervals.
This 21-day workshop is being held at the Bhavabhuti Auditorium on campus. The culmination of this 21-day Sanskrit drama workshop will include stage performances, and for further information and publicity, a press conference has been scheduled for 18th June 2024 at 12:00 PM, where you or your appointed representative are cordially invited.
