CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At Hindu College, active National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteer Priyanshu Singh was felicitated for winning a bronze medal in the Second Junior and Youth Para Badminton National Championship held in Lucknow.
Principal Anju Srivastava congratulated Priyanshu and said that achieving one’s goal despite physical challenges is truly an example of strong determination. She added that Hindu College has earned recognition not only in academics but also in sports and other co-curricular activities. Prof. Srivastava also assured Priyanshu of all necessary support for his future progress in sports.

The Vice-Principal of the college, Prof. Reena Jain, remarked that it is indeed a matter of pride when an NSS volunteer, along with regular participation in social service activities, also competes at the national level in sports.
NSS Program Officer Pallav shared that Priyanshu, a B.A. program student originally from a humble family in Uttarakhand, won the bronze medal in the Under-21 Doubles category, partnering with Jalakesh Kumar from Uttar Pradesh. In addition, Priyanshu also reached the quarterfinals in the singles category of the championship.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by NSS Student President Nishant Singh.
