CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Professor Dev Anand Hindolia, newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi University (ABVHV), formally assumed charge on Friday. On his very first day, he inspected various departments of the university, reviewed the existing systems, and indicated clear intent towards necessary reforms.
Prof. Hindolia stated that shortcomings across departments will be identified and addressed within a defined timeframe. He emphasized transforming the university from a mere degree-awarding institution into a hub of job-oriented courses to ensure a stronger future for students.
He further announced that upcoming initiatives will include the development of translation, technical law, and medical courses in Hindi medium. The founding objective of the university—to promote Indian languages and equip local youth with professional skills—will now be expedited.
Prof. Hindolia added that the university will now prioritize innovation, discipline, and a student-centric approach, thereby creating a more impactful academic environment.
This statement came during a courtesy visit and welcome exchange held by environmentalist and ecologist Dr. S. D. Virendra, CE and Media Coordinator of Heartfulness Institute, Bhopal Division, Madhya Pradesh.
