Prof. Vijay Singh has been appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of Scope Global Skills University (SGSU). A distinguished name in management, education, and administration, Prof. Singh is set to introduce new dimensions in higher education with his vast experience and visionary leadership.
He holds a Ph.D. in Management, an MBA, and an MA in English Literature. Recognized as an efficient administrator, exceptional academician, and inspiring team leader, Prof. Singh has served as the Registrar and Professor at Rabindranath Tagore University since 2011. Before this, he worked as a professor at C.V. Raman University, Bilaspur.
Throughout his career, Prof. Singh has handled various academic and administrative responsibilities, making significant contributions to regulatory bodies such as the University Grants Commission (UGC), AICTE, NCTE, BCI, INC, and ICAR. Under his leadership, Rabindranath Tagore University achieved NAAC accreditation and secured NIRF rankings for six consecutive years.
Prof. Singh has over 20 national and international research publications and has authored and edited 10 books on management. Additionally, he holds two patents and has actively participated in numerous national and international seminars, workshops, and conferences. His efforts facilitated multiple MoUs between Rabindranath Tagore University and various institutions and organizations. He also played a pivotal role in developing an in-house ERP system, which is now operational across all AISECT universities.
