Project BanGanga: Nutrition Festival Celebrated with Health Camps at Anganwadi Centers.

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: As part of National Nutrition Month, a dental and oral check-up camp was organized in Anganwadi Center No. 717 by Project BanGanga during the third week, under the theme of a healthy lifestyle, celebrated as a Nutrition Festival.

In the program, Dr. Priyanka Jha, a dental specialist, and her team examined the oral health of approximately 90 children, women, and adolescent girls. They provided guidance and distributed medicines. Project Officer Akhilesh Chandra Chaturvedi advised regular dental check-ups.

Additionally, an AYUSH lifestyle sensitization and health check-up camp was organized by Shashank Jha and the AYUSH team at Center No. 783, where around 60 women, adolescent girls, and children were examined, and medicines were distributed.

Project Officer BanGanga Akhilesh Chandra Chaturvedi, Supervisors Usha Sharma, Poonam Soni, Chandrawati Amrute, and Anganwadi workers Chandrika Sahay, Sunita Sarathe, Sona Sisolia, Sujata, and Nasreen were present at the event.
