CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Minister Dilip Jayaswal Launches Integrated Digital Platform for MP Khadi and Village Industries

Dilip Jayaswal, Minister of Cottage and Village Industries (Independent Charge), launched the integrated digital platform mpkhadigramodyog.com developed by the Madhya Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board at Bhopal Haat. Addressing the gathering, he said this initiative is a strong step toward promoting indigenous products and realizing the vision of a self-reliant India (Atmanirbhar Bharat).

He explained that the platform acts as a bridge connecting millions of artisans, weavers, entrepreneurs, and consumers across the state on a single digital stage. The portal offers features such as artist registration, emporium information, premium product displays, and on-demand showcases, giving traditional products a global digital presence.

Minister Jayaswal highlighted that the platform will elevate brands like “Kabira by Khadi” and “Vindhya Valley”. While Kabira by Khadi is popularizing traditional clothing as a fashion trend among youth, Vindhya Valley delivers FMCG products such as herbal oils, honey, aloe vera gel, and incense sticks to consumers in attractive packaging. He congratulated the project officials and technical team, calling it a living example of Digital India and Atmanirbhar Bharat. The program was attended by Managing Director Mal Singh, artisans, weavers, and the general public.

On this occasion, the Minister also inaugurated the National Khadi Festival, lighting a lamp at Mahatma Gandhi’s statue and urging citizens to embrace Khadi.
