CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The General Assembly meeting of the Government Pt. Khushilal Sharma Autonomous Ayurveda College and Institute in Bhopal was held under the chairmanship of Higher Education, Technical Education, and AYUSH Minister Inder Singh Parmar. The meeting included detailed discussions on various points and a review of the college’s activities.
The budget for the current financial year was approved during the General Assembly. Discussions covered various student-related issues, including the construction of a boys’ hostel and an indoor sports complex on campus. A budget of ₹3 crore was sanctioned for the construction of the indoor sports complex, and MLA Bhagwan Das Sabnani agreed to contribute ₹1 crore to the project.
AYUSH Minister Parmar expressed satisfaction with the timely completion of processes related to the time-scale and pay-scale for the faculty and staff of the college. He also emphasized ensuring the timely execution of the higher post responsibility process to fill vacancies in accordance with actual requirements.
Minister Parmar stated that the holistic development of students is a priority. He instructed officials to quickly submit proposals for constructing a new hostel building for students and ensure the availability of all necessary resources within the stipulated time frame. He urged the institute to excel in its specialized field to enhance its reputation and reliability. He also encouraged the institute to implement its plans effectively to become an inspiration for other institutions.
The meeting was attended by MLA Bhagwan Das Sabnani of Bhopal (South-West) constituency, Principal Secretary AYUSH D.P. Ahuja, Commissioner AYUSH Nidhi Nivedita, Divisional Commissioner S.P. Verma, Principal Umesh Shukla, other General Assembly members, and departmental officials.
