CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhopal Division Commissioner Sanjeev Singh inspected the Pt. Khushilal Ayurvedic Medical College. During the inspection, he reviewed the operations of the Panchakarma Super Specialty Center and expressed satisfaction. This Panchakarma center is a 5-star facility in the country, where people come not only for treatment of illnesses but also for lifestyle and mental stress relief, as well as weight management services. He also held a joint meeting with the Unani and Homeopathic medical colleges.

On this occasion, Dr. Umesh Shukla, Dean of Pt. Khushilal Medical College, shared that the number of patients seeking treatment at the country’s first Panchakarma center is steadily increasing. Last year, around 5,000 patients underwent various procedures (Panchakarma services), marking a 70% increase. So far this year, over 6,500 patients have undergone more than 20,000 procedures.

Commissioner Singh inspected the lab at Khushilal Medical Hospital and instructed that all types of test reports should be provided on time to avoid inconvenience for patients. He also directed proper arrangements for seating and drinking water for the patients who come for treatment in the OPD daily.

The Commissioner also visited the research center within the hospital and gave directions to send a proposal to the government to arrange the necessary facilities and manpower required to operate the center. In addition, he discussed the hospital’s future plans in detail with all doctors, associate professors, and staff members in the conference hall. He also directed the preparation of a proposal for building a sports complex for UG and PG students on the hospital campus.

For campus security, the Commissioner held a joint meeting with the Unani and Homeopathic medical colleges located within the AYUSH campus and issued instructions for special surveillance, including the installation of CCTV, lights, and monitoring of black spots. He also directed the setup of a common control room within a month for security purposes.

In the executive committee meeting of the Homeopathic Medical College, a proposal was put forward for purchasing an Aadhaar-based biometric attendance system and an inverter. Instructions were given to create a roundabout and speed breaker in front of the college to regulate traffic smoothly.
