CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Public Relations Officers have been instructed to prominently publicize government schemes, policies, and achievements through print, electronic, digital, and social media. They are also expected to regularly inform the government and administration about public issues and assist in their swift resolution. Officers must maintain constant communication and coordination with the media and seek their full cooperation in promotional activities.
These directives were issued by Joint Director of Public Relations, Pankaj Mittal, during the divisional review meeting of the Bhopal division held on Friday at the Divisional Public Relations Office, Bhopal.
The meeting was attended by Devendra Ogare, Deputy Director Sehore, Arun Sharma, Deputy Director Bhopal, Surendra Tiwari, Assistant Director Rajgarh, B.D. Aharwal, Assistant Public Relations Officer Vidisha, along with other officials.
Director Mittal emphasized the importance of focusing on the promotion of key government flagship schemes, including the Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan (a water conservation and enhancement campaign). He instructed that during visits by the Chief Minister and other dignitaries to the districts, officials should not only ensure news coverage but also interact with beneficiaries of government schemes to compile success stories. Additionally, he directed the publication of special articles based on various government programs and initiatives.
