CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A large public welfare and grievance redressal camp and an “Udyam Samvad” were organised under the “Mukhyamantri Jan-Vishwas Abhiyan-2026” at the Krishi Upaj Mandi premises in Berasia tehsil of Bhopal district. Officials from various departments provided information on the government’s public welfare and beneficiary-oriented schemes and extended benefits to eligible beneficiaries on the spot.
Resolve every application within one week
Minister in charge Kashyap directed officials to examine every application received at the camp and ensure its quality disposal within a maximum of one week. He said he is personally visiting the camps held every Friday and reviewing the progress of application disposal in the presence of officials. In cases where immediate resolution is not possible, the applicant should be clearly informed of the reason and the likely timeline, he said.
Transparent survey of crop damage to be conducted
Minister in charge Kashyap said the state government is observing the current year as “Kisan Kalyan Varsh”. Teams will soon be formed to conduct a transparent survey of damage to the soybean crop. On the basis of the survey, eligible farmers will be provided assistance as per rules. He said all eligible beneficiaries in the Berasia area will be provided housing benefits under “Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2.0”. Kashyap said that, in line with Chief Minister Yadav’s intention, continuous work is being done to strengthen cooperatives and the milk union, along with food processing, industry and animal husbandry. Development in these sectors will increase farmers’ income and create new employment and self-employment opportunities at the local level.
Dialogue held on entrepreneurs’ problems and suggestions
At the “Udyam Samvad” held along with the camp, local industrialists and entrepreneurs presented their problems and suggestions. Detailed discussions were held on infrastructure in the industrial area, plot allotment and issues related to various departments. Minister in charge Kashyap directed the officials concerned to resolve entrepreneurs’ problems on priority.
Benefits of schemes should reach the last person: MLA Khatri
Berasia MLA Vishnu Khatri said the main objective of the Mukhyamantri Jan-Vishwas Abhiyan is to ensure that the benefits of the government’s beneficiary-oriented schemes reach the person standing at the last rung of society. He said the Seed Development Corporation is constructing a modern warehouse with a capacity of 3,000 tonnes in the Berasia area. Along with organising training sessions for farmers, a free grading plant is also being set up on the mandi premises.
MLA Khatri urged that the construction of a fever clinic in Berasia, the early inauguration of the hospital and the process of allotment of plots in the Acharpura industrial area be expedited.
Municipal Council president Tanushree said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is moving ahead rapidly with the spirit of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas”. The government is committed to infrastructure development, women’s empowerment and making youth not job seekers, but job providers, she said.
