CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The investigation into Pune realtor Ketan Agarwal's alleged murder has taken a dramatic turn, with the two accused—his fiancée Siya Goyal and her alleged lover Chetan Chaudhary—now blaming each other for planning and executing the crime. According to Pune Rural Police, both suspects have made conflicting statements during custodial interrogation, each claiming the other was the mastermind behind the alleged conspiracy.

Investigators, however, say they are relying on technical evidence rather than the accused's changing versions. Police are examining CCTV footage, mobile phone records, digital communications, and witness statements to reconstruct the events leading to Agarwal's death at Lohagad Fort on June 18. Officials have indicated that the evidence collected so far points to a premeditated conspiracy, though the investigation is still underway and the allegations remain subject to judicial scrutiny.

The case initially appeared to be an accidental fall but later turned into a murder investigation after police uncovered alleged inconsistencies in the statements and other evidence. Both accused remain in police custody as investigators continue to determine their respective roles and establish the motive behind the crime. No court has yet determined their guilt, and the matter will be decided through the legal process.
