CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In Bhopal district, 47 cooperative societies have been designated as farmer registration centers for wheat procurement at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) under the Rabi Procurement Year 2025-26. The farmer registration process has begun. Registration through cooperative societies is completely free of charge. Farmers can also register themselves by downloading the registration app on their mobile phones. Additionally, registration facilities are available at MP Online centers, Common Service Centers, Lok Seva Kendras, and privately operated cyber cafes.
District Supply Controller of Bhopal, Ajit Kujur, stated that farmer registration is being conducted based on land records obtained through the Revenue Department’s online portal. If there is any discrepancy in the registered land area or crop details, the government has provided a system for corrections through the concerned Tehsildar. Farmers facing any issues regarding land area or crop information during registration should immediately contact their respective Tehsildar’s office.
For registration, an OTP will be sent to the farmer’s Aadhaar-linked mobile number. In the case of joint land ownership, all co-owners must register their respective cultivated land separately. Tenant farmers, sharecroppers, and forest leaseholders can only register through cooperative societies. For this, they must have a lease agreement on the prescribed stamp paper, dated at least one year prior. If the original landowner has passed away, registration can be done in the name of the legal heir after the land transfer is completed.
Farmers must register the same bank account that is currently linked to their Aadhaar to ensure timely payment. If a farmer owns land in multiple villages within the same district, the crop area from other villages can be included in the registration. However, if the land is in another district, the farmer must register separately using their Samagra ID and Aadhaar.
The Revenue Department is responsible for farmer registration. Even if a farmer has not been registered by the Revenue Department, they can still complete their procurement registration.
Farmers are urged to visit their nearest registration center as soon as possible to complete the registration process.
