Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU), Raisen, has been officially recognized as a Host Institute/Business Incubator by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India.

For the past seven years, the university has been actively supporting innovation and startups through its AIC-RNTU Foundation, offering mentorship, networking opportunities, and funding assistance. This center is backed by the Atal Innovation Mission of NITI Aayog and is considered one of the leading incubation centers in central India.

The AIC-RNTU Foundation provides financial and technical support to startups under various government schemes, including:

Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (DPIIT)

NIDHI Seed Support Scheme (DST)

GENESIS (MeitY Startup Hub)

iDEX-DIO

Over 500 startups have benefited from these initiatives. With the new recognition, the center will now also extend its services to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

In this context, Rabindranath Tagore University is participating as a partner institution in the MSME Hackathon 5.0 organized by the Ministry of MSME. Students, MSME entrepreneurs, and innovators from across India are welcome to participate.

Winners of the hackathon stand a chance to receive funding support of up to ₹15 lakhs.

The hackathon offers a golden opportunity to encourage innovation and creativity while empowering participants through government support.
