CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Department of Biology at Rabindranath Tagore University organized a one-day industrial visit to Som Distilleries and Breweries Limited, Raisen, to enhance the practical knowledge of the students. The purpose of this visit was to provide students with practical insights into industrial fermentation processes, quality control, and beverage production.

Upon arrival at the industrial complex, the visiting group was guided by the company’s HR Head, Mr. Sukhbir S. Bagga, and Quality Control Head, Mr. Kanhaiya Lal Patel. They explained that the company was established in 1993 and produces beverages such as beer, wine, rum, and vodka.
