Following this, the students visited the Kolar Water Treatment Plant under the supervision of Junior Engineer Mahendranath Yogi from Bhopal Municipal Corporation, where they learned about the functioning of units like lime and alum mixing basins, clariflocculators, filters, chlorination units, and the pump house.

Dean of Academics, Sanjeev Gupta, stated that such educational tours help students deeply understand civil engineering concepts and enhance their practical knowledge. University Registrar Vijay Singh added that this tour proved highly beneficial for the students, providing them with practical knowledge of hydraulic structures and the water treatment process. The university regularly sends students from various faculties on educational tours to different institutions across the state.
