A grand inauguration of the two-day international conference titled “Advancements in Science, Technology, and Management in the Present Era” was held today at Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal. The conference is being jointly organized by the university and the Society for Advanced Research in Plant Science, Narmadapuram.
Renowned scientists, researchers, and academicians from India and abroad are participating in this academic event.
The chief guest, Dr. Pramod Patil, retired professor of Botany from Bhopal, graced the occasion. Among the international participants were István Fekete from Hungary and Suhaib Malik from the UAE.
On the dais were University Vice-Chancellor R. P. Dubey, Registrar Sangeeta Johri, Society President Ruchita Srivastava, and Dean of Science Faculty Dr. Poorvi Bhardwaj.
In his address, Dr. Pramod Patil emphasized the need for the integration of science, technology, and management for rural development.
Dr. Fekete, highlighting the importance of international platforms, stated that India’s youth power can play a leading role in global research.
Dr. Suhaib Malik spoke about the significance of multidisciplinary education and technological innovation in today’s era.
Vice-Chancellor Dubey remarked that such conferences offer a shared platform for researchers, academicians, and students, fostering sustainable and inclusive global development.
The program began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony. The inaugural session was anchored by Neeta Ghangrekar, and a detailed report was presented by Dr. Poorvi Bhardwaj.
Professors and students from across the country participated in the conference.
