CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Political rhetoric has intensified in Uttar Pradesh ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections. Thakur Raghuraj Singh, a minister of state in the Yogi government, has made sharp remarks against Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. In a statement made in Aligarh, he claimed that if Akhilesh Yadav contests elections separately from the Samajwadi Party, he would not even be able to win a village pradhan election. This is Raghuraj Singh’s political claim, not a fact of any election result.
The minister also commented on the Samajwadi Party’s current political position. He alleged that the SP is focusing more on a particular vote bank and, taking a dig at the party’s condition, said it is in a “golgappa-eating situation”. He also referred to developments involving Akhilesh Yadav and Shivpal Yadav related to the party and the Lohia Trust.
Raghuraj Singh also made claims regarding employment during the Yogi government’s tenure. According to him, about 9.5 lakh jobs have been provided during the government’s tenure, and nearly 30 lakh people have received employment in factories through the Labour Department. These figures should be viewed as the minister’s claims.
He also commented on Rahul Gandhi and praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Raghuraj Singh also claimed that the BJP would win the 2027 Assembly elections.
