CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Holi and Bhagoria are not just festivals of colors; they are celebrations that connect hearts, strengthen relationships, and convey messages of love, harmony, and brotherhood in society. A unique feature of India’s Ganga-Jamuni culture has always been its tradition of embracing every religion, every thought, and every color together. When colors blend, distinctions of caste, religion, or wealth dissolve, and this very spirit makes India one of the most beautiful democracies in the world.

In today’s times, when divisions and politics of hatred are often witnessed in society, such festivals become a significant opportunity to spread messages of love and unity. With this spirit, the country’s Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, and Madhya Pradesh’s Leader of Opposition, Umang Singhar, celebrated Holi and Bhagoria with Congress leaders and workers, sending a positive message. This was not just a tradition of celebrating a festival but a symbol of love and brotherhood against hatred.

The Congress Party’s history has always been linked to the ideology of inclusiveness, love, and unity. Continuing the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and Rajiv Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Umang Singhar also emphasize bringing society together. When leaders and workers celebrate such festivals together, the organization grows stronger, and a familial bond develops among the members.

The message of Holi reminds us that India’s real strength lies in its diversity. Despite different cultures and traditions, we are one. On this auspicious occasion, we should resolve to fill society with colors of love, harmony, and brotherhood and further strengthen the unity of the nation.
