CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Devashish Tripathi, the Divisional Sports Council of West Central Railway, Bhopal, organized various sports competitions. The events included categories such as volleyball, badminton, table tennis, carrom, chess, and bench press. Over 100 railway officers and employees from the Bhopal Division participated enthusiastically in this sports fest.

The competition concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where Divisional Railway Manager Tripathi honored the winners and runners-up. On this occasion, the Divisional Sports Council also felicitated prominent sports personalities, including J. P. Yadav (Cricket), Kamal Chawla (Snooker), and Ms. Tanisha Asnani (Powerlifting).

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of railway officials – Vijay Singh (Senior Divisional Personnel Officer), Pramod Jadhav (Divisional Operations Manager), Vivek Agrawal (Divisional Signal & Telecom Engineer), and Prince Yadav (Divisional Electrical Engineer/TRD).

Noteworthy Table Tennis Performance

In the table tennis competition, Reservation Supervisor Paramjit Singh (from the Commercial Department) clinched the title in the singles category. In the doubles category, he secured the first position along with Pankaj Gupta (Commercial Department/Bhopal).

The successful execution of the entire event was made possible by the efforts of Divisional Sports Council Bhopal members: Pradeep Yagnik, Sunny Bhatnagar, Mohd. Shakir, Mohd. Salman, Hemant Yadav, Mrs. Jyoti Bandopadhyay, and Jitendra Asnani.
