CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU), Raisen, organised the ‘Vanmali Shikshak Samman 2026’ ceremony to express respect for the contribution and services of the teaching community. More than 80 teachers associated with schools from all development blocks of the district were honoured. Information was also shared at the ceremony about various university initiatives linked to the all-round development of students in the fields of education, youth development, skills and sports.
The chief guest at the programme was Manoj Kushwaha, president, Janbhagidari Committee, Prime Minister College of Excellence Swami Vivekananda Government College, Raisen. Sameer Choudhary, Deputy Registrar, RNTU; Rampal Singh Patharia, District Manager, Raisen; Akshat Shukla, Director Admissions, RNTU; Santosh Upadhyay, Assistant Registrar Admissions, RNTU; Satish Ahirwar, Sports Officer, RNTU; Vijay Pratap, Public Relations Officer, RNTU; Vivek Sangode, Assistant Manager, RNTU, and other dignitaries were present.
Addressing the teachers, chief guest Manoj Kushwaha said teachers are an important foundation of society and nation-building. Teachers, he said, not only provide students with subject knowledge, but also play an important role in shaping their personality, values and future. He extended best wishes to all the honoured teachers and appreciated their dedication and continuous contribution.
Welcoming all teachers, Sameer Choudhary shared information about Rabindranath Tagore University’s academic activities, various courses and the educational facilities being provided to students. He highlighted the university’s various academic initiatives along with quality and employment-oriented education.
Akshat Shukla shared information related to various courses, admissions and training and placement at RNTU. He spoke about the efforts being made by the university to expand opportunities for higher education, skill development and employment for students.
On the occasion, RNTU Public Relations Officer Vijay Pratap shared information about the work and various initiatives being undertaken by RNTU and the AISECT India Group in the field of sports. He highlighted the training, scholarships, sports facilities and other opportunities being provided to players by the university, as well as efforts to encourage emerging sports talent.
At the end of the programme, Santosh Upadhyay expressed gratitude to the chief guest, all guests, honoured teachers and the associates connected with the event. The proceedings were conducted successfully by Jyoti Trivedi.
Through Vanmali Shikshak Samman 2026, the contribution of teachers of Raisen district was honoured, while efforts being made for the all-round development of students through education, skill development and sports were also shared.
