CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In a significant push toward social welfare and educational empowerment, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma announced the establishment of 200 Ambedkar e-libraries across urban areas of the state. The initiative aims to enhance access to digital learning resources, particularly for Scheduled Caste communities, and promote inclusive education. Alongside this, the government also unveiled plans to set up a residential coaching centre at Ambedkar Peeth in Jaipur to support students preparing for competitive examinations.
In a parallel move, the state government transferred welfare benefits worth ₹1,363 crore to beneficiaries, reinforcing its commitment to social upliftment and financial inclusion. The funds are intended to support various welfare schemes targeting marginalized and economically weaker sections of society.
The initiative reflects a broader vision of bridging educational gaps while ensuring economic support reaches those in need. By combining infrastructure development with direct financial assistance, the government aims to create sustainable opportunities for disadvantaged communities.
The announcement marks a crucial step in strengthening Rajasthan’s welfare framework, with a focus on education, empowerment, and equitable growth across all sections of society.
