According to the forecast of the India Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur in several districts of the north-western parts of the state on October 10 and 11. During this period, strong winds at speeds of 30 to 40 kmph are also likely. Due to the change in weather, day temperatures may fall in some areas, bringing expected relief from the heat.
According to the Meteorological Department, rain is likely at isolated places in Bikaner, Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, Sikar and Jhunjhunu. Weather may also change in some nearby areas. However, the intensity of rainfall is not expected to be the same across all districts.
Day temperatures are likely to fall from tomorrow under the influence of the weather system. Cooler conditions are expected from October 11 in and around the Shekhawati region, including Churu and Sikar. Meanwhile, weather in other parts of the state may remain relatively dry.
The weather may also change in Jaipur. The capital is likely to see cloudy skies and light rain at some places, though rainfall is not certain. According to the Meteorological Department, after the current system passes, night temperatures may also decline.
The weather may change again on October 13 and 14. As per the forecast, weather is likely to remain dry in most parts of the state on October 12. After this, light rain may occur on October 13 and 14 in the Bikaner division of western Rajasthan and some nearby areas.
