CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The 87th quarterly meeting of the Factory Rajbhasha Implementation Committee was successfully held at the Coach Rebuilding Factory, Nishatpura, Bhopal. The meeting was chaired by the Committee Chairman and Chief Factory Manager, Prafull V. Kohade.
The meeting included in-depth discussions on the effective implementation of the central government’s Rajbhasha (Official Language) policy, promotion and use of Hindi in offices, and ways to enhance the use of Hindi in government operations. A review of the activities carried out during the quarter ending December 2025 was also conducted.
At the beginning of the meeting, Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer (SDFK), Hanuman Prasad Meena, welcomed the Chairman by presenting him with a plant. Following this, the Liaison Rajbhasha Officer and Assistant Personnel Officer, M.L. Meena, delivered the welcome address and presented the meeting agenda.
In his presidential address, Prafull V. Kohade stated that the promotion and use of Hindi as the official language in the factory is being carried out with full dedication and proactive efforts. He appealed to officers and staff to ensure compliance with the Rajbhasha policy alongside their production duties and to promote the use of Hindi while being aware of its constitutional provisions. He further emphasized that government work can be effectively conducted in the language of the general public through Hindi.
During the meeting, the Rajbhasha Section also released the “Rajbhasha Dainandini 2026,” which includes constitutional provisions, acts, rules, and useful information for office work, assisting officers and employees in performing their daily tasks in Hindi.
Officials from various departments of the factory, shop and section in-charges, supervisors, and chief office superintendents along with their representatives were present at the meeting. The proceedings and vote of thanks were conducted by Senior Translator Rakesh Kumar Malviya.
This meeting proved significant in further strengthening the constitutional use of Hindi and the compliance with the Rajbhasha policy within the factory.
