CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The UIT Mathematics Department at Barkatullah University concluded the lecture and competitions organized on the birth anniversary of the great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.
As a tribute to India’s legendary mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan, the event was held under the guidance of the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor S.K. Jain, and UIT Department Director, Professor K. Gaur N.K. The Mathematics Department Head, Garima Singh, organized expert lectures and competitions, including PPT making, rangoli, quiz, and poster creation, at the central mathematics department of Barkatullah University.
An exhibition on Indian mathematical traditions and Vedic mathematics was displayed at the central library.
Students actively participated in various competitions, with 24 participants receiving awards. Notably, Ms. Nimisha Raghuvanshi showcased exceptional talent by winning two first prizes in PPT making and poster creation. Ms. Rishita Kumari secured first place in the quiz competition, while Ms. Neetu Pandit won the first prize in rangoli.
