Ranbir Kapoor and Yash praised

A foreign critic who watched the film described it as a grand cinematic experience. The critic praised Ranbir Kapoor’s portrayal of Lord Ram, while also calling Yash’s look as Ravana impressive. Some viewers appreciated the music, action sequences and the large-scale setup created for the film. The climax of the film was also discussed. One critic said that after the screen went black at the end, the critic could not stop reacting and loudly shouted “No”. According to the critic, the ending may leave audiences eager for the next part.

One review gave only a 1.5/5 rating

While many early reactions were positive, another review that went viral on social media gave the film only 1.5 marks out of 5. The reviewer said that despite the film’s large scale, some portions seemed to lack emotional depth.

The reviewer also questioned the pace of the story, the impact of some scenes and the VFX. Some other reactions also criticised the length of the second half and the flow of the story. However, these are individual reviews and cannot be considered the opinion of all viewers.

Difference in length between Hindi and English versions

According to reports, the English-dubbed 3D version was also shown in Los Angeles. One report said the original Hindi version was about 30 minutes longer than the English-dubbed version. Some viewers also discussed the film’s cultural references and emotional aspects.
