CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The 21-day national workshop at the Central Sanskrit University, Bhopal Campus concluded with the worship of Goddess Saraswati, in the esteemed presence of Dr. Sandhya Purecha, Chairperson of the Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi, as the Chief Guest, Prof. Ramkumar Sharma as the Saraswat Guest, and Margi Madhu as the Special Guest. The event was presided over by Campus Director Ramakant Pandey.
Prof. Sanandankumar Tripathi delivered the welcome address, while the workshop report was presented by Prof. Kripashankar Sharma (Coordinator). Following this, participants Niranjan Jha and Kumari Chitranshi Sharma shared their experiences and learnings from the workshop.

In her keynote address, Director Dr. Sandhya Purecha highlighted the significance of organizing a workshop on a rare text like Bhaavaprakasha, calling it a remarkable initiative by the university. She emphasized that students studying acting and theatrical principles are becoming the torchbearers of future generations.
As the Saraswat Guest, Prof. Ramkumar Sharma also spoke about the importance of the workshop, while Special Guest Margi Madhu shed light on the Koodiyattam style in relation to Bhaavaprakasha.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Associate Director Govind Pandey.
As part of the workshop’s culmination, participants staged the classical Sanskrit play “Abhishekanataka” by Mahakavi Bhasa, which is based on the Ramayana. The play featured performances by participants such as Sanit Swami, Vinod Sharma, Ram Madhav, Devalina Roy, Aniruddh, Tanya, Udayan Shrestha, Hemant, and Rahul, who portrayed key roles in the production.
