CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A new edition of Rang Samvad, woven with the cultural fabric of artistic interconnection, was released at the Sadanira festival in Bharat Bhavan. Renowned theatre and cinema personalities Rajeev Verma, Annu Kapoor, Piyush Mishra, Seema Kapoor, Navni Parihar, Rumi Jafry, and Karan Razdan unveiled this special edition of the acclaimed and award-winning magazine from Tagore World Centre for Arts and Culture, RNTU.
The event was graced by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s cultural advisor Shri Ram Tiwari, Rang Samvad editor and director of the Tagore World Centre for Arts and Culture Vinay Upadhyay, senior manager of AISECT Publications Mahip Nigam, and assistant editor Mudit Srivastava.
The launch was met with great enthusiasm in the packed Antarang auditorium of Bharat Bhavan. The cover of this latest edition — thrice awarded by the Federation of Indian Publishers, Delhi, for excellence in editing and publishing — features artwork by internationally renowned painter Sameer Sarkar.
According to Rang Samvad’s chief editor Santosh Choubey, this open platform of creative dialogue between the arts once again calls out intimately to the evolving, unique, and fascinating world of art. Editor Vinay Upadhyay shared that the edition contains over fifty cultural articles and artworks, with new dimensions of dialogue between folk and classical arts presented by Vasudev Murti, Nadira Zaheer Babbar, Murlidhar Chandaniwala, Mamta Khede, Somdutt Sharma, Yunus Khan, Ravindra Tripathi, Utpal Banerjee, Mamta Singh, Sandeep Naik, Premshankar Shukla, Sanjay Dwivedi, Ashok Bhowmick, Anoop Joshi, Sanjay Shepherd, and Dinesh Shrinet.
Published by AISECT Publications, Bhopal, this cultural magazine continues to present a series of documentary special editions.
