According to the woman, the accused called her to a lodge on the pretext of understanding an insurance policy plan. After she reached there, he allegedly locked the room door and forced himself on her. After the incident, the accused allegedly threatened her and fled the spot.
According to the survivor, the accused had first said he wanted information related to a policy. On this pretext, he took her to the lodge. The woman has alleged that after reaching the room, the accused’s behaviour changed and he raped her. When she resisted, the accused allegedly threatened her and ran away from there. After the incident, the woman lodged a complaint with police. On the basis of the complaint, police may begin identifying and searching for the accused. Records linked to the lodge and other available evidence will be important in the investigation.
