CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : Under the leadership of Idea Promoter Ravindra Rathore from Padhar, Betul District, senior members and women representatives of the Rathore Kshatriya community reached the Collector’s office and submitted a memorandum addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The memorandum highlighted that many international days are celebrated across the world, such as International Yoga Day, World Environment Day, World Bicycle Day, and World Radio Day. However, there is no such observance as “World Assistance Day”.
Through this memorandum, the community proposed that a World Assistance Day should also be celebrated at the global level. Citing India’s consistent and proactive role in providing humanitarian aid during global crises, the community emphasized the country’s legacy of extending help to the world.

The proposal noted that:
During the COVID-19 pandemic, India supplied vaccine support to more than 150 countries.
In the case of the economic crisis in Sri Lanka, India extended financial aid.
After the earthquake in Turkey, India was among the first to send relief and rescue teams.
Thus, it can be confidently stated that whenever humanity is in crisis, India stands at the forefront, proudly representing the spirit of Bharat Mata (Mother India). India continues to live by the ethos of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” – the world is one family – by consistently leading global humanitarian efforts.

The proposal also cited that the Indian Government itself acknowledged in Parliament that India provided ₹32,000 crores in assistance to six neighboring countries between 2021 and 2025.
Therefore, in light of India’s noble contributions and humanitarian leadership, the community respectfully submitted the proposal via the Collector to the Government of India, requesting official recognition and global advocacy for World Assistance Day.
