CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Senior spokesperson of the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee, Ravi Saxena, stated that the unfortunate and concerning incident that occurred at a coaching institute in Delhi should not be repeated in Madhya Pradesh. Therefore, the government should conduct a thorough investigation of the coaching centers operating in Madhya Pradesh. It should be checked whether these coaching centers are operating in basements or dilapidated buildings. Are fire-fighting equipment and CCTV cameras installed in these coaching centers from a safety perspective, and are they functioning properly?

Mr. Saxena said that coaching centers are mocking education by commercializing it, with one batch comprising of a hundred children. This should be immediately stopped, and strict adherence to the education department’s standard of 40 children per batch should be enforced. It also needs to be checked whether these coaching centers have adequate faculty for teaching.

Mr. Saxena said that thousands of rupees are being collected from parents as fees by the coaching centers operating in the state, but there is chaos and disorder in the name of facilities. The government is expected to investigate the coaching centers within a specific timeframe and form a high-level inquiry committee to report within a set deadline. Immediate action should be taken against those violating regulations to protect the lives and future of the children.
