CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A comprehensive training program was organized by the Office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer, Bhopal, for the new version 2.0 of the RCH (Reproductive and Child Health) Portal, in which 552 district-level officers and staff were trained. The sessions were conducted in various batches at the Collectorate Office, District Panchayat, and People’s Medical College.
Participants included staff from the Health Department, as well as doctors and paramedical staff from AIIMS Bhopal, Hamidia Hospital, Sultania Hospital, and Gas Relief Hospital.
The training covered:
85 Doctors
217 ANMs (Auxiliary Nurse Midwives)
64 Community Health Officers
72 Nursing Officers
24 Supervisors
90 Multi-Task Workers
These participants received detailed guidance on the use of the new ANMOL mobile application and web portal.
🔍 About RCH Portal 2.0 and ANMOL App
The upgraded RCH portal has been developed by the Department of Public Health and Medical Education, aiming to simplify and strengthen the monitoring and management of health services provided to pregnant women, newborns, and mothers.
Key features of the new version include:
Simplified registration of pregnant women
Identification of high-risk pregnancies
Recording of delivery data
Easier entry of newborn and child health service data
The effective use of the ANMOL app ensures improved monitoring and better health outcomes for mothers and children. The portal is a significant initiative towards reducing maternal and infant mortality rates.

Dr. Prabhakar Tiwari, Chief Medical and Health Officer of Bhopal, stated that the Janani Suraksha Yojana and Mukhyamantri Shramik Seva Prasuti Sahayata Yojana payments have now been integrated with e-KYC, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of funds to eligible beneficiaries through the RCH portal.
