CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In Sehore district’s Ashta block, two Financial Inclusion Saturation (FI Saturation) camps were organized in Gram Panchayat Kilerama and Gram Panchayat Sevda. Key participants at the camps included RBI Regional Director Rekha Chandanaveli, Bank of India Bhopal Circle Regional Manager B.R. Patnaik, Bank of India FGM Bhopal Deputy General Manager Subodh Kumar, RBI LDO Dheeraj Gupta, CEO of Janpad Panchayat Amit Vyas, Regional Manager SBI Narmadapuram Rakesh Kumar, Regional Manager Union Bank of India Narmadapuram Rajkumar Sen, Assistant General Manager Bank of Baroda Shivdatt Mishra, Regional Manager Madhya Pradesh Gramin Bank Rekha Tiwari, Bank of India FGM Bhopal General Manager Hiren Tilala, District Lead Manager Jaydeep Bhattacharya, Sarpanch Kilerama Rakesh Parmar, and Sarpanch Sevda Santosh.

At the camp, RBI Regional Director Rekha Chandanaveli emphasized to customers the mandatory requirement to complete Re-KYC of their accounts within the prescribed time period. She noted that accounts not updated on time may become inactive, preventing beneficiaries from availing government welfare schemes. She also highlighted that banks cannot perform Re-KYC without properly identifying their customers.

B.R. Patnaik, Regional Manager of Bank of India Bhopal Circle, stated that through this camp, the bank has come to the customers’ doorstep, and the Re-KYC process can be completed very easily. He also informed the public about social welfare and insurance schemes such as the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, and the Atal Pension Yojana.

RBI LDO Dheeraj Gupta remarked that just as crops require timely water and fertilizer, it is equally essential to complete Re-KYC of accounts on time. Meanwhile, CEO of Janpad Ashta assured full support from the administration to make the Government of India’s initiative successful.and appreciated the institute’s projects and initiatives.
